PART.01: Project Background
Maxon industrial wireless access point has been successfully applied to ZW Aluminum's graphite anode baking workshop, providing an efficient communication solution for data transmission between the combustion unit, heat exchange unit, exhaust purification unit and the control system.
PART.02: Construction Goal
The workshop faces a series of harsh environments such as high temperature and too much dust in the units. In order to ensure a stable, real-time and effective communication between the combustion units, exhaust units and other production units in the workshop and the control system, with the interference combined with the blocked conditions and factory’s operating rules, Maxon industrial wireless AP finally selected point-to-multipoint networking devices to build a stable and efficient industrial data communication, try to transmit IO and relay data in real time, and to monitor the key parameters of the combustion system, such as temperature, pressure and flow. According to the preset process requirements, the system can automatically adjust the operating status of each unit to ensure the efficiency and stability of the production process. In addition, the control system has fault diagnosis and alarm functions. When the system failed, it can automatically issue an alarm in time and take corresponding treatment measures to ensure the safe and stable operations of the whole system.
PART.03: On-site Deployment
Through this application, the intelligent management of the production process is realized, the production efficiency is effectively improved, and a solid foundation is made for further improving the level of production automation. We will continue to promote the development of wireless tech to support more industrial application scenarios.
